The band re-grouped in 2004 featuring mainstay/band leader Lloyd, original Prefects guitarist Alan Apperley, ex-Nightingales Byrchmore and Duffy, plus former PWEI drummer Robert "Fuzz" Townshend.   5. Robert "Fuzz" Townshend was born on 31 July 1964. Fuzz was the drummer of Pop Will Eat Itself from 1991 onwards. He's been a drummer since the age of ten, has worked as a bus mechanic, truck driver, college lecturer, landcape gardener and used to own a bar in Digbeth, Birmingham called The Rainbow until 2005.
