10 de may. de 2024 · Robert the Bruce (born July 11, 1274—died June 7, 1329, Cardross, Dumbartonshire, Scotland) was the king of Scotland (1306–29), who freed Scotland from English rule, winning the decisive Battle of Bannockburn (1314) and ultimately confirming Scottish independence in the Treaty of Northampton (1328).

Walter and Marjory (died 25 March 1317 x 24 March 1318) were married shortly after 27 April 1315 and Robert is likely to have been born early in 1316.
