Robert Walpole, 1 er comte d'Orford (26 août 1676 – 18 mars 1745) est un homme d'État du Parti whig britannique, et le premier véritable Premier ministre de Grande-Bretagne. This position had no official recognition in law, but Walpole is nevertheless acknowledged as having held the de facto office due to the extent of his influence in the Cabinet.
