Robert de Holand (born c. 1311 –12 [aged 16 in 1328, aged 30 and more in 1349] – died 16 March 1372/3), 2nd Baron Holand. He married before 25 June 1343 (date of fine) Margaret Hetton, who married Sir William Molineux of Sefton secondly.

23 de abr. de 2019 · On 15 October 1328 Robert Holland, or Holand, was at Borehamwood. Unfortunately so were a number of Lancaster supporters. There was an argument. Robert was beheaded. Thomas, Robert’s eldest son pictured at the start of this post in his garter robes, served Edward III. He was a man of no substantial wealth.
Birth. Robert de Holand, 1st Baron Holand was born about 1283. He was a son of Robert De Holand, Knight of Upholland (in Wigan), Lancashire, and by his wife Elizabeth Samlesbury, daughter and co-heiress of William De Samlesbury, was Knight of Samlesbury and Over Darwen, Lancashire. [1] [2] [3]

He was a son of Sir Robert de Holland and Elizabeth, daughter of William de Samlesbury. He was a favorite of Thomas Plantagenet, 2nd Earl of Lancaster and had been knighted by 1305.
