Sanctuary is the twenty third studio album by American singer and harpist Charlie Musselwhite. It was released in 2004 on Peter Gabriel's Real World label, Musselwhite's debut release on this label.

Charles Wayne Sexton (born August 11, 1968) is an American guitarist, singer and songwriter. Sexton is best known for his years as a guitarist in Bob Dylan 's band, though also has become well known as a music producer. Sexton co-founded Arc Angels and created the Charlie Sexton Sextet.
Musselwhite is the usual epitome of cool in his vocal delivery, and plays unamplified harp to the foil of Charlie Sexton's slide guitar. Despite the title, it is delivered in a cheery, clapalong style, which stands in quite a contrast to much of the rest of the album.
