  4. Visit Us The School of American Ballet is located in the Samuel B. and David Rose Building at the northwest corner of the Lincoln Center campus. (165 W. 65th Street between Amsterdam and Broadway). The building lobby is located one story above street level on a plaza which also contains the primary entrance to the Walter Reade Theater.

  5. Born in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, Jonathan Stafford began his dance training at the age of eight with the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet under the direction of Marcia Dale Weary. He attended the School of American Ballet’s 1996 and 1997 Summer Courses before enrolling as a full time student at SAB in the fall of 1997.

  6. Study in the School of American Ballet’s summer programs is for ballet students between the ages of 10 and 18 years old. Admission to our summer programs is by audition only. Our flagship five-week Summer Course in NYC for 12 to 18 year olds offers intensive exposure to SAB’s year-round training syllabus and provides an opportunity for students to experience the unparalleled cultural offerings of New York City.
