Seán McGinley (born March 1, 1956) is an Irish actor. He has appeared in about 80 films and television series. Early life. McGinley was born in Pettigo, County Donegal, where his father was a customs officer, and raised in nearby Ballyshannon.

Biography. Seán was a member of the Druid Theatre Company from 1977 to 1989. Credits there include The Playboy of the Western World, Conversations on a Homecoming, Famine, The Glass Menagerie,Touch of the Poet, Loot, The Importance of Being Earnest, Much Ado about Nothing, Waiting for Godot, Endgame, Geography of a Horse Dreamer and Action.
