Seán McGinley. Not to be confused with Sean McGinly. Seán McGinley (born c. 1956) is an Irish actor. He has appeared in about 80 films and television series. Early life[edit] McGinley was born in Pettigo, County Donegal, where his father was a customs officer, and raised in nearby Ballyshannon.

Biography. Seán was a member of the Druid Theatre Company from 1977 to 1989. Credits there include The Playboy of the Western World, Conversations on a Homecoming, Famine, The Glass Menagerie,Touch of the Poet, Loot, The Importance of Being Earnest, Much Ado about Nothing, Waiting for Godot, Endgame, Geography of a Horse Dreamer and Action.
