Sebastiano Ricci (Belluno, luglio 1659 – Venezia, 15 maggio 1734) è stato un pittore italiano. Considerato una delle figure principali della rinascita della Pittura Veneta del 1700, ha imparato a dipingere studiando i lavori di Paolo Veronese e di altri pittori italiani del 1500 che erano i suoi veri maestri, influenzando a sua volta i pittori della nuova generazione, come Giambattista Tiepolo.

Sebastiano Ricci. Milan, 2006, p. 259, no. 331, fig. 102, calls it Rest on the Flight into Egypt, lists it as on the art market about 1960–70, and states that Pallucchini attributed it to Ricci in writing in 1960.
