Seth Chase Taft (December 31, 1922 – April 14, 2013) was an American politician of the Republican party and a grandson of President William Howard Taft. [1] Early life and education. Seth Chase Taft's paternal grandfather was President William Howard Taft.

Seth Taft, a prominent local attorney and general counsel for The Cleveland Foundation, drew up the articles of incorporation. With the name change on December 12, the new foundation was established. On December 15, 1961, the Ford Foundation formally notified GCAF that it had won its $1.25 million grant.
