It does have some regrettable 60’s trappings such as MacLaine playing a half-Chinese woman though they don’t have her use an accent thankfully. Herbert Lom, the inspector from the Pink Panther movies plays the target of their scheme and he unfortunately has to wear heavy brown greasepaint like a Klingon from the original series.
