Sidney Lumet ( Philadelphia, 25. lipnja 1924. – 9. travnja 2011.) je bio američki filmski i televizijski redatelj, autor više od 50 filmova, kao što su hvaljeni 12 gnjevnih ljudi (1957.), Pasje poslijepodne (1975.), TV mreža (1976.) i Presuda (1982.), za koje je zaradio nominacije za Oscara. 2005. je nagrađen Oscarom za životno djelo.

15 de ago. de 2023 · Sidney Lumet’s “The Verdict” is the best courtroom drama ever. It is also one of those rare features that doesn’t wear down with repeated viewings. That would seem odd for an entry that’s best remembered for the shock of its resolution, which should only be able to surprise the audience the first time around.
