Silverthorn Collegiate Institute is a public high school in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is located in the neighbourhood of Markland Wood in the former suburb of Etobicoke. It is under the sanction of the Toronto District School Board (the successor to the former Etobicoke Board of Education).

Silverthorn is a semestered school, meaning we run 4 classes for half the year (Sept –Jan) and 4 classes for the second half of the year (Feb –June). The school day starts at 9:00 AM and finishes at 3:15 PM, with the exception of some Wednesday’s when we have a late start from 9:55 – 3:15 PM. Within the day, we run 5 classes every day.
