29 de ago. de 2021 · At the Slade School of Fine Art we approach the practice of contemporary art and the history and theories that inform it in an experimental, research-oriented and imaginative way. An art school with a world leading reputation, the Slade makes a significant contribution to the field of contemporary art both nationally and internationally.
BA Fine Art students take one additional course from a vast range of options offered in other UCL departments (subject to availability), normally in their second year. This may relate to their practice-based work, for example, a course in anthropology, psychology, architecture or film, or it may provide an additional skill such as mathematics or computing.
Application procedure for Fine Art programmes. All applications to the BA and BFA in Fine Art at the Slade must be made through UCAS by 31January 2024 at 6.00pm (GMT). The Slade offers a choice between the following three options within the PhD programme: Practice-led: a thesis of studio practice that makes an original contribution to knowledge plus a written report of normally between 15,000-30,000 words (maximum 40,000) and normally 10,000 to 15,000 words for the MPhil (maximum 20,000).

8 de ene. de 2024 · Visit the Slade. You can visit the Slade Degree Shows, which take place in May and June 2024. Please note that the studios are private working spaces and ad hoc or unplanned visits can not be arranged. Application procedure for the MFA and MA Fine Art. The deadline for applications is 5pm, 8 January 2024.
Any candidate who wants to join Slade School of Fine Art must apply through UCAS in the first year only. If a UCL student from another department wants to transfer to the Slade School of Fine Art, they must follow the formal admissions process of submitting the UCAS form and portfolio correctly within the published deadlines.
