Elections. Social Democratic Action of Croatia ( Croatian: Akcija socijaldemokrata Hrvatske or ASH) was a Croatian left-wing political party. It was founded by 1994 by members of Social Democratic Party of Croatia dissatisfied with the centrist policies of SDP leader Ivica Račan and his lack of criticism towards Franjo Tuđman .
The SDP is a syncretic political party which combines centre-left economics with centre-right stances on social and cultural values. Green Left of Croatia. The Green Left of Croatia ( Croatian: Zelena ljevica Hrvatske) was a leftist party formed in 2001 whose political platform was ecological socialism . On the local elections in 2005, it formed a joint list with the Social Democratic Union and two other green parties. The coalition got 0.39% vote in Zagreb.
The SSH should not be mistaken for Socialist Party of Croatia - Left Alternative (Croatian: Socijalistička partija Hrvatske), which had been formed by people around Stipe Šuvar, at the time a dissident of Socialist Labour Party of Croatia. In 1991, it was renamed to Socialdemocratic Party of Croatia–Party of Democratic Changes (Socijaldemokratska partija Hrvatske–Stranka demokratskih promjena, SDPH), that would ultimately become the Social Democratic Party of Croatia in 1993.
