1 de sept. de 2001 · Erskine dramatized the architects’ ingenious lighting with spectrum color that acted like a solar clock. During the installation’s run, the visibility of Erskine’s piece depended not only on the weather—cloudy or sunny—but also on the sun’s position in the sky.

En la década de los 80 se da cuenta de que puede hacer esculturas con luz y aplica los conceptos que aprendió en la universidad de Pensilvania para crear sus obras psicodélicas de luz.

Peter Erskine (born 1941) is an American artist who specializes in creating solar spectrum environmental artworks using light.
Erskine Solar Spectrum Environmental Art. As the Earth spins, circling the Sun, huge living rainbows slowly glide through an Erskine natural light installation, gradually changing shape and color with the seasons. The entire space becomes a giant prismatic sundial linking us to the cosmos.
