Sts Stephen's College was an educational establishment for girls run by the Community of St John Baptist, an Anglican convent of Augustinian nuns in Clewer ( Windsor, Berkshire) from 1867. The Story of St Stephen's College. by Jenny Balston. The story begins in 1863 when Sister Emily, a young member of the Anglican Community of St John the Baptist at Clewer, invited a reluctant group of seven unwashed, unkempt street urchins into a poor and barely furnished hovel in the slums of Clewer Fields - and began their education.
St Stephen’s College, Broadstairs, seems a long way from Windsor but it had its roots there and maintained close links until its closure on July 4th 1991.

St Stephen's se mudó a Folkestone en 1919 y fue evacuado a Taplow durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Los edificios de Folkestone fueron finalmente adquiridos por Folkestone School for Girls. Después de la guerra, se restableció el St Stephen's College en Broadstairs. Cerró en 1991. [2]
