Every plant is in improbable perfection; towering forest trees, magnolias in the infant innocence of pale flowers, rhododendrons of every hue, billowing white clouds of Siberian malus, ivory flowered dogwoods and wild service trees the size of oaks.
PRINCIPAL BUILDING The mansion at St Paul's Walden Bury (early C18, additions by James Paine 1760s and Arthur Castings late C19, listed grade II*) stands on high ground at the southern end of the gardens and pleasure grounds, enclosed to the south and east by the park.
Weddings and other events at St Paul’s Walden Bury. The beautiful 18th century rooms in the house can be hired for weddings or for other events. Our notable garden - 50 acres of clipped hedge avenues, temples, statues, lake - can be used for marquee receptions. Small or large celebrations are welcome, up to 800 guests.
