4 de may. de 2024 · Later, I learned that five of the seven tracks on that album came from The Sound of Sonny on Riverside Records. That 1957 album is a delight, and it’s the only meeting of the two Sonnys, Rollins and Clark. (To avoid confusion, I’ll refer to our saxophonist as “Sonny” or “Rollins,” but I’ll always call the pianist “Clark.”)

Jamie Cullum is my favorite!!!! He does jazz piano standards, his own jammy kinda version and has one of the best voices ever. All his albums are amazing. Live even better. His song society records are he and his band picking a random song practicing for and hour then recording in one take. They’re awesome!
