Star of the Sea College’s mission, vision and values have informed the academic and co-curricular programs since 1883, true to the principles of our founders Mothers John Byrne and Paul Fay. As the 16th Principal of Star of the Sea College, I acknowledge the Presentation Sisters and lay Principals who have come before me, and I am mindful of my responsibility in carrying forward their legacy.
Star is a school of opportunity. As a large College, we are able to teach a broad range of subjects designed to meet all interests and abilities. We are very proud of our high academic standards and our inclusive philosophy. Our co-curricular program is equally vibrant and varied. Learning at Star is not confined to the time between bells.
