Er arbeitete in den späten 1980ern und frühen 1990ern für NBC, ABC, UPN und FOX. Dort kreierte er viele verschiedene TV-Specials.
Steve Oedekerk was born in Los Angeles, CA, in 1961; while still a teenager, he began producing humorous radio commercials, and began making the rounds of California's comedy clubs.
Steve Oedekerk is an American comedian, director, editor, producer, screenwriter and actor. Oedekerk is best known for his collaborations with actor Jim Carrey and director Tom Shadyac (particularly the Ace Ventura franchise), his series of "Thumbmation" shorts and his film Kung Pow: Enter the Fist (2002).
