21 de ene. de 2021 · Susan Euphemia Beckford was the younger daughter of Margaret Gordon (1762–86) and William Beckford (1760–1844). She was born at the medieval Château de La Tour-de-Peilz near Vevey, a town on the north shore of Lake Geneva in Switzerland, on 14 May 1786.

Susan Euphemia was the daughter of William Beckford [d. 1844] of Fonthill Abbey and his wife Lady Margaret Gordon, daughter of George, 5th Earl Aboyne and Lady Margaret Stewart. On 26 April 1810 Susan married Alexander, 10th Duke of Hamilton [1767-1852].
