Susanna Hall. Susanna Hall ( née Shakespeare; baptized 26 May 1583 – 11 July 1649) was the oldest daughter of William Shakespeare and Anne Hathaway. She was the older sister of twins Judith and Hamnet Shakespeare. Susanna married the physician John Hall in 1607.

Susanna trouwde op 5 juni 1607 met John Hall, een arts die sinds 1600 zijn eigen praktijk had. Een jaar later schonk Susanna het leven aan een dochter, Elisabeth. Zij was het enige kleinkind dat William Shakespeare heeft gekend, aangezien de kinderen van zijn dochter Judith na zijn dood zijn geboren. Susanna stierf op 66-jarige leeftijd.
Susanna heiratete John Hall, einen angesehenen Arzt, am 5. Juni 1607 in der Holy Trinity Church und nahm seinen Nachnamen an. Sie war 24, er war ungefähr 32 Jahre alt. Ihr einziges Kind, Elizabeth (1608–1670), wurde am 21. Februar 1608 in der Holy Trinity Church getauft. Susanna Hall starb im Alter von 66 Jahren am 11. Juli 1649.
25 de ene. de 2021 · When Susanna married a local doctor, John Hall, in 1607, her father gifted her 107 acres of land as a marriage present. The Halls set up an estate down the road from Susanna’s parents’ grand house, and in 1613, when her father retired in Stratford-upon-Avon, the two continued to work together on business affairs and real estate purchases.
