  1. Australian College of the Arts Pty Ltd (Collarts) is an Australian independent tertiary education provider, with four campuses in Melbourne, Victoria. Originally operating as AusMusic, Collarts was founded in 1993 [1] and offers undergraduate degrees to on-campus and online students.

  2. Legislation to incorporate and endow the University of Sydney was passed in 1850 with the first professors arriving in 1852 followed by a cohort of 24 candidates later that year.   4. On the 25 July 1975 the Sydney College of the Arts was established by the New South Wales Minister for Education as a College of Advanced Education. The establishment of the College arose from the Gleeson Report of 1970 and the Crafts in Australia - Australia Council Enquiry, 1973, which recommended that an Art College be established in Sydney.

  5. On 25 July 1975 the Sydney College of the Arts (SCA) was established by the Minister for Education as a College of Advanced Education (CAE) under the NSW Ministry of Education. On 1 January 1976 the College was given the responsibility for running design courses previously conducted by the Technical and Further Education Commission of New South Wales.

  7. Collection Description. The Sydney College of the Arts (SCA) was the visual arts faculty of the University of Sydney from 1990 through 2017, and is currently part of the School of Art, Communication and English within the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. The SCA Archive showcases scholarly research works of staff, students and alumni.
