2015 release, the major label debut album from instrumental collective Snarky Puppy. The album is a noted creative departure from the group, as they have collaborated with the Metropole Orkest orchestra from Holland to record the album live. Sylva marks the first time the band has joined forces with an orchestra.

11 de sept. de 2023 · It retains a familiar Snarky Puppy feel, but the addition of the talent of Metropole Orkest allows new sounds and textures to be explored. Where a few previous Puppy records could at times feel a little dynamically monotonous, Sylva shows a beautiful control of dynamics and tension, meandering through peaceful lulls and grand climaxes.
