Taxi Driver es una película lenta, que tarda en arrancar y en la que si bien De Niro esta brutal (como en él es habitual), el argumento esta cogido con pinzas. La película no va de nada hasta que va de algo (no se sabe muy de qué). Hay fallos importantes de guión como la desaparición de la chica que trabaja en la campaña política.
