Ted Rosenthal (born 1959) is an American jazz pianist. He was featured on David Sanborn 's series Night Music, and has performed worldwide, both as a leader and as a sideman with many jazz greats, including Gerry Mulligan, Art Farmer, Phil Woods, Bob Brookmeyer, and Jon Faddis.
Ted Rosenthal is a leading jazz pianist of his generation. Ted Rosenthal was the first prize winner in 1988 of Thelonious Monk International jazz piano competition. He has continued to perform internationally as both a leader and sideman with many jazz legends such as Art Farmer and Phil Woods.
Ted Rosenthal is one of the leading jazz pianist/composers of his generation and has performed worldwide as soloist, with his trio, and with many jazz greats. Rosenthal composes music ranging from jazz tunes to orchestral works (two jazz piano concertos) and ballet scores.
