Radical. Théophile Delcassé (1 March 185222 February 1923) was a French politician who served as foreign minister from 1898 to 1905. He is best known for his hatred of Germany and efforts to secure alliances with Russia and Great Britain that became the Entente Cordiale. He belonged to the Radical Party and was a protege of Léon Gambetta.

Delcassé, Theophile (1852-1923). Político francés, nacido el 1 de marzo de 1852 en Pamiers y muerto en Niza el 22 de febrero de 1923. Ministro de relaciones Exteriores francés entre 1898 y 1905 y entre 1914 y 1915, fue el principal impulsor del sistema de alianzas europeo formado tras la Primera Guerra Mundial.
