Théophile Delcassé (1 March 1852 – 22 February 1923) was a French politician who served as foreign minister from 1898 to 1905. He is best known for his hatred of Germany and efforts to secure alliances with Russia and Great Britain that became the Entente Cordiale .

Théophile Delcassé, né à Pamiers le 1 er mars 1852 et mort à Nice (Alpes-Maritimes) le 21 février 1923, est un homme politique français de la III e République. Il est l'un des artisans du rapprochement de la France et du Royaume-Uni qui aboutit à la signature de l'Entente cordiale.
(1852–1923) French statesman. As Foreign Minister in six successive governments between 1898 and 1905, he was the principal architect of the pre-1914 European alliances. He was the key figure in negotiations which resulted in the entente cordiale with Britain (1904) and he paved the way for the Triple Entente with Britain and Russia (1907).
