  2. 21 de dic. de 2006 · What can I say that hasn't been said before and probably better. I've loved Patti Austin ever since I first heard her on Quincy's 'The Dude' and never been disappointed. I now finally have the means to build a collection of her music, and though I'm woefully behind "That Secret Place" and "For Ella" are two of my all-time favs.

The scat syllables express that childlike longing for a secret place far better than any storyline could. In fact, when she uses a verse to describe a tropical paradise, the only line I really care about is “No one there but you and I.”
