"The Beloved Rogue" is a very entertaining picture, which was created to rival the swashbucklers starring Douglas Fairbanks. Whether it succeeds in being equal to "Robin Hood", for example, as far as the hero's physical exploits are concerned, is a matter of viewer's taste.
