However, the intricacies of the stylized Hollywood plot of the Bond film seemed heavily complicated as I thought of the boy that author Matthew Gavin Frank meets and of the homing pigeon the barely teenaged miner keeps in his lunchbox.
Rating: 4*/5. Ian Fleming – The Diamond Smugglers. I have mixed feelings about this book. I didn’t really take much of it in, but it was an enjoyable enough read for what it was. Fleming himself never took it particularly seriously, but it sold well enough when it was first released and there was even talk of turning it into a movie.
