The Hall School is an independent boys' preparatory school in Belsize Park, Hampstead, north London, currently teaching boys from age 4 to age 13. Description [ edit ] The school, across its three buildings, a new one being built currently, has a roll of over 432 boys, approximately 60 in each year from Years 1–8 and 40 in Reception.

Admissions Procedure. Admission at 4+. The Hall admits approximately 50 boys into Reception classes (aged 4+) every September. Assessments for these places are held in the preceding Spring Term.

Half Term: Friday 20th October (inclusive) – boys return Tuesday 31st October. Staff INSET: Monday 30th October. Term Ends: Friday 15th December.
The Hall has an excellent track record of gaining both academic and music awards. Boys do not sit any public examinations including SATs, GCSEs or A levels. A series of Standardised Assessments are sat throughout the School.
