Hace 6 días · The Hound of the Baskervilles, one of the best known of the Sherlock Holmes novels, written by Arthur Conan Doyle in 1901. The novel was serialized in 1901–02 and was published in book form in 1902. It was the first Sherlock Holmes tale since the detective’s ‘death’ in the story ‘The Final Problem’ (1893).
Hugo captured and imprisoned a young country girl at his estate in Devonshire, only to fall victim to a marauding hound of hell as he pursued her along the lonesome moors late one night. Ever since, Mortimer reports, the Baskerville line has been plagued by a mysterious and supernatural black hound.
