Irwin, a much-decorated former Hanoi POW, hero of the Gulf and Bosnian campaigns, now sentenced to a military prison under the command of Col. Winter (James Gandolfini), a sadistic sentimentalist who obsessively dotes on his collection of military memorabilia.
