However, the 5th book, The Prince and the Pilgrim, is more of a side story which doesn't have any interaction with King Arthur, Merlin, or Nimue...only references them. The writing was a bit different as it switched perspectives throughout the book, which I found somewhat annoying as it did not read as smoothly as the first 4.
