The Runaround (1946) is a reworked version of the It Happened One Night (1934) scenario with big and rugged Rod Cameron hunting down Ella Raines and having a good time doing it. There's a cool twist at the end which is differentiates it from the '34 movie, but the rest is running with the same idea.
