American Whiskey Trail. Welcome. The American Whiskey Trail is a tourism initiative brought to you by the Distilled Spirits Council, its member companies, affiliate members and Historic Mount Vernon. The Trail is an educational journey into the cultural heritage and history of spirits in America.
The American Whiskey Trail is the name of a promotional program supported by the Distilled Spirits Council of the United States that promotes the distilled beverage industry in the U.S. The Trail was first promoted to the public on September 28, 2004.
ADVENTURES RUN ON TENNESSEE WHISKEY. The Tennessee Whiskey Trail knits together 25 Tennessee distilleries and gives visitors a taste of the history, tradition and novelty of Tennessee whiskey, as well as experience the rich landscapes.
An epic adventure awaits you and your friends on the Tennessee Whiskey Trail. With over thirty possible stops, and criss crossing over 800 miles of beautiful Tennessee landscape, let’s just say that this is an adventure of a lifetime! Taking your sweet time could stretch this trip out to two or even three weeks, so plan accordingly.
