Thomas George Lyon-Bowes, 12th Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne (28 September 1822 – 13 September 1865), styled Lord Glamis between 1834 and 1846, was a Scottish peer and cricketer. Background Lyon-Bowes was the eldest surviving son of Thomas Lyon-Bowes, Lord Glamis, son of Thomas Bowes-Lyon, 11th Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne.
Born in Gibide, Durham, England on 03 May 1773 to Sir John Bowes Lyon, Earl Strathmore & Kinghorne, and Mary Eleanor Countess of Strathmore Bowes. Thomas 11th Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne Bowes Lyon married Marianna Cheape and had 2 children. He passed away on 27 Aug 1846 in Holyrood House, Edinburgh, Mid Lothian, Scotland.
