The Immediate label kicked off by doing a deal with The McCoys, they producing the first hit 'Hang on Sloopy', but apart from that they have very few' if any, promising acts. Oldham had done two 'concept' albums for Decca's budget label Ace of Clubs in which the Jagger / Richards compositions were given a new airing in a mock classical style.
