Leben Tony Hadley im 2014. Hadleys Karriere begann 1974 mit dem Gewinn eines Talentwettbewerbes. 1979 tat er sich mit den beiden Brüdern Gary und Martin Kemp sowie Steve Normann und John Keeble zusammen und es entstand die Band Spandau Ballet, die in den 1980er-Jahren weltweit große Erfolge feierte u. a. mit Titeln wie True (1983), Gold (1983) oder Only When You Leave (1984).

Tony Hadley. Soundtrack: Eddie the Eagle. Tony Hadley was born in Islington on 2nd June 1960. He went to school with his future bandmates Gary Kemp, John Keeble, Steve Norman, Richard Miller and Martin Kemp.
As lead singer of Spandau Ballet, Tony Hadley has, over the years, earned the accolade of being one of pop music’s greatest vocalists. Pioneers of the ’80s Romantic movement, Spandau Ballet had numerous chart topping singles and albums all over the world, the most memorable being the singles ‘Gold’ and the international number one ‘True’, the latter famously sampled by PM Dawn in 1991.
