Tribaljazz featured guest vocals by Michael Franti (Spearhead, Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprisy) and actress Alfre Woodard. It was produced by Densmore at Henhouse Studios in Los Angeles. “I had been mouthing off about being a jazz drummer since before the Doors,” Densmore relates.
