Wayne was nominated for acting only once before, for "Sands of Iwo Jima", but did not win until he played "Rooster" Cogburn in "True Grit." A fine performance in a fine movie. 6. 1939 was an incredible year for movies.

Fortunately, for the 2024 Biltwell 100 I welcomed into my garage a more off-road capable friend than my G310R: Dr. Zaius (Dr. Z for short), a 2003 Suzuki DRZ400S. The bike wasn’t the only new thing at my pit area though.
Hace 3 días · We'd been apart too long, my heart was tired, Chicago felt both too flat and too far. I'd been grounded, relegated to a winter. When we finally repaired it back together I rode down to a Big Marsh, an incredible park of singletrack and gravel and birdsong, and I reveled in the October sun, the way we clipped down the Lakefront. We were back.
