Planters are inventory items that can be deployed in fields. Only one of each type of planter can be planted at any time, and only one planter can be planted in each field at any time. A player can only have up to 3 planters active at any given point of time. Harvesting planters grants Nectar, random loot depending on the planter and the field, and...

To use a planter, simply drag the planter in your inventory or use the planter on your hotbar while standing on an unused field. A deployed planter will naturally grow over time only when you are playing the game. Only 3 planters can be active at a time.

The growth of the planter can be boosted by using glitter on the field it is deployed (25% faster), active clouds in the field (8% faster each active cloud, 20% maximum bonus growth), a field they can naturally grow by faster (ex. Blue Clay Planter grows 25% faster in Blue Fields), or by bees sipping on the planter by standing in the field the planter is deployed. When bees are sipping on the planter, they will convert pollen in the player’s bag, grant nectar, and give growth to the planter. The amount of growth added to the planter depends on the bee's energy and the amount of nectar depends on the bee's collection amount and the planter deployed.

After reaching 95% growth, the planter will roll on whether it will "smoke" or not. If the planter smoked, the planter will spawn a puffshroom on harvest (the planter must be at 100% growth to summon it). The chance for the planter to smoke depends on the type of planter, with the ticket planter and sticker planter being guaranteed to smoke.

Upon harvesting the planter, the planter will drop two things: Nectar and items, the nectars are guaranteed to be granted upon harvest, and items are only dropped at a certain percentage of growth. The amount of nectar and items it drops depends on the current growth of the planter. If the planter is smoking while at full growth, it will release a puffshroom upon harvest with its level being affected by the type of planter used. The type of nectar dropped is affected by the field the planter is deployed on, and the items are affected by the type of planter and the field it is deployed on. Some planters grant more nectars than other ones.

Planters have bonus drops. Either from the planter itself, when they are deployed in a particular field, or by chaining them by planting and fully growing them at particular fields (see chart below under "All Bonus Drops (from growing in a certain field)".

When harvesting a planter on a field, the field will "degrade". When a field degrades, the natural growth of the planter slows down when it is planted there. The amount of degradation on the field depends on the current percentage of growth on the planter corresponding to the natural time of the planter's growth, and harvesting a planter also always degrade the field by 1 hour. Every field can be degraded by a maximum of 48 hours. The more degradation is put on the field, the longer they'll naturally grow and the longer they'll stay degraded.

Planters drop items and nectars upon harvesting, the quality and amount of items and nectars depend on the total growth. Chaining or having the planter deployed in certain fields will make them drop certain items. Some planters also exclusively drop certain items. As seen below:

•All planters (except the Heat-Treated planter, Hydroponic Planter and Sticker Planter) were added in the 12/26/2021 update.

•There are currently 10 reusable planters, thus adding 10 more inventory items that are reusable.

•Roblox user Not_Nert modeled all of the planters.

•Similarly to certain other items that can be placed down, any planters that have been placed down before the player has joined will not appear for that player.

•The Festive Planter is the only planter that can drop Gingerbread Bears and Festive Beans.

•The pollen gained from planters counts toward quests that require Pollen.
