Israel Kaʻanoʻi Kamakawiwoʻole (translation: “The Fearless Eyed Man”) (May 20, 1959 – June 26, 1997), also called Bruddah Iz or IZ, was a Native Hawaiian singer-songwriter, musician, and Hawaiian sovereignty activist. His voice became famous outside Hawaii when his album Facing Future was released in 1993.
I DO NOT condone body shaming or fat-shaming or anything like that, but I must ask why was Israel Kamakawiwo'ole so big? Why couldn't he just try intermittent fasting? He weighed 757 lbs and suffered from morbid obesity since his teenage years. He literally weighed over 1,000 lbs when he died at just 38 yrs old back in the summer of 1997.
