Rev. Dr. Samuel Cruz is an Associate Professor of Religion and Society at Union Theological Seminary, a pastor at Trinity Lutheran Church in Brooklyn, and an activist for Afro-Latinx rights. He has a Ph.D. from Drew University and has published books and articles on Afro-Latinx spiritualities, Pentecostalism, and liberation theologies.
