Unionism in the United Kingdom, also referred to as UK unionism or British unionism, is a political opinion. It is in support of keeping England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland as one sovereign state, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The people who support the union are called "Unionists".
