  1. Paul McCartney's was (I believe) the first Unplugged show to be released as an album and it kicked off a huge trend in the '90s. His is a great one. It is both my second favorite Paul McCartney live album (after Wings Over America of course) and my second favorite Unplugged album (after 10,000 Maniacs). It has a wonderful Macca vibe to it.

  5. Unlike many 'unplugged' albums, this one uses no electric instruments and the only things plugged in are the microphones that pick up the singers and instruments for the recording. Instrument balance is achieved entirely naturally - for example, Paul uses a loud 12 string guitar to stand out from the combo and a quieter 6 string to blend in to the ensemble.
