7 de dic. de 2006 · Bobby Vee has proved to be a durable performer over the years and to the best of my knowledge is still touring. He had the difficult task (at a very early age)of filling in for the late, great Buddy Holly on the tragic Winter Dance Party tour which took Holly's life back in '59, and basically hasn't looked back since.

Bobby Vee. Robert Thomas Velline (April 30, 1943 – October 24, 2016), known professionally as Bobby Vee, was an American singer who was a teen idol in the early 1960s and also appeared in films. [1] According to Billboard magazine, he had thirty-eight Hot 100 chart hits, ten of which reached the Top 20.

With the collective might of the Brill Building behind him, though, Vee was guaranteed to make it; his third single, "Devil or Angel," hit the Top Ten in mid-1960, followed by "Rubber Ball" later that year. One year later, Vee's biggest hit, "Take Good Care of My Baby," spent three weeks at number one, followed by the number two "Run to Him."
