Vincente Minnelli, geboren als Lester Anthony Minnelli, was de zoon van Mina Mary LaLouette Le Beau en Vincent Charles Minnelli, muzikaal leider van het rondreizende toneelgezelschap Minnelli Brothers' Tent Theater.
